Caeleb Dressel on YouTube

Since late 2024 I have produced Caeleb's YouTube channel end to end: the episode idea, the shoot at the University of Florida pool, the underwater camera, the edit, the grade, the mix, and the sponsor segments. Each long-form episode ships with short cutdowns for Instagram and YouTube Shorts.

The format

Technique episodes work when the teaching is real and the product mentions are rare. The structure is narrative first: Caeleb explains a concept on deck, then the underwater footage proves it. Sponsor beats are placed where a viewer would expect a breath, not inside the lesson. The channel is his voice; my job is to make the water legible and get out of the way.

Sprint 101

Elite sprint mechanics explained by the fastest man to swim them. Extensive underwater coverage at speed, which is its own camera problem: the housing has to be where the stroke is, and the stroke does not slow down for you.

How to Swim Underwater

Dolphin kick from the wall out. Most of this episode is below the surface, shot to show the timing of the kick against the body line rather than to look pretty.

Perfect Swimming Starts

Block, entry, breakout. Overhead, side and underwater angles cut together so a swimmer can see one start from all three places at once.
